God is our father. That's what every Christian keeps telling us. We call him the Father, without question, sometimes without real feeling. it's just a word to be used. in a world where family values are becoming more and more undervalued (sometimes with very understandable reason), the loving presence of our parents is severely lacking. We are born in the image of our parents, a genetic amalgomation of their traits. Yet in spite of all that, we often become distant. Sometimes we choose that distance, other times we are pushed aside. But our Father in Heaven will not ever push us aside, no matter what we may do.
I realize this article won't appeal to everyone. While some Christians might not agree with it, I found it really put things in perspective as to who God is, and what he means for our eternal perspective. I just thought I'd share something uplifting with those who are interested.
